Street Pharm the life of a drug dealer. As good as it seemed with all the cash flowing in on Ty Johnson there were many things he had to overcome through out the novel. He was shot twice in a drive by, he lost one of his good friends that cared about him Sonny, he lost the only girl that he ever cared about, he started to go to school but left because he was more focused on the money he was making and he distanced himself from his mother and this was all because of the drugs. At the end of the novel Ty finally realizes that no one lasts in this business and it just a matter of time before hes gone like Sonny, he stops selling drugs and trys life the fair way without the easy money. The novel ends with him going back to school and a peachy little thing with him and Alyse get back together. I expected the novel to go out in a big bang with alot of people dying because it got pretty crazy near the end to the point you just want to read more but it didnt happen. The author could have made a bit more action happen at the end which could have left room for another book. I think the end was a bit idealistic because he quits selling the drugs not only for the girl but himself too and thats a good because it took alot of things to happen to him to realize what he was doing and it was getting him no where in life but downhill.

Overall this was a good book I would reccomend this novel to many people because it kinda gives you a taste of what its really like and the conciquences of doing it and what could happen to you. I think the author did this book well and if there was a better ending thought there could have been another book to follow.

the main overlying conflict in this novel is ty johnsons drug dealing. as much money as it makes him it is actually destroying his life. he has lost his girlfriend alyse and she dosent want to see him anymore because of the drugs. his friend monfrey is addicted to crack that he sells. his family now knows that he is a hustler and hustles cocaine and crack and his bestfriend sonny is now dead because he didnt show up to a drug deal that he was supposed to watch. hes been shot twice because of the competition dealing in the streets because its all about who runs what and the territory that these people can own.

one of the main conflicts other than tys drug dealing that he faces in the novel is the other drug dealer named darkman. he wants ty gone for good and has already tried to kill him. ty gets rid of him by sending in one of his men to find out more about darkmans dealing. tys friend gets information about a pickup of a large amount of cocaine and he takes advantage of this by letting the cops know when and where darkmans gonna be while the drugs are in his car. the cops then take the information and arrest darkman and put him away for along time ty now has nothing to worry about.

do you think after everything that has recently happened to ty johnson that he will give up the drug dealing and try to change his life around?

the main flaw that ty johnson has in this novel is he is a drug dealer. he has been around it since he was 9 years old because of his corrupt father. he is very street smart and knows what he is doing but drug dealing has its own law and if they dont need you your gone in seconds. it has already got him shot twice in a drive by shooting. One of his main customers ratted him out to the police and now they are watching him. he hides it from the girl he likes and he hides it from his mother. in the end it is only gonna end up putting him in the cage. latley though hes been very interested in school and has a 75 in one of his classes. the teacher recommended that he go somewhere with it.

If you were in a position like this where you've had drugs and crime around you your whole life what would you do?

As the novel begins you meet the main character Ty Johnson. Ty is a drug dealer who supplies everyone in his town. He took over for his father who has been teaching him since he was 9 years old. Ty runs the streets in his town and he has his close friend sonny and many people that work under him helping him. Ty lives a normal life and hides his darkside from his mother and many people he knows. he gets transfered to another school because of never being there anyways and is given one last change to finish school. while he is there he meets a girl named alyse that puts him in his place when they first meet. As he sees her more and starts to talk to her he begins to like this girl.

the first initial problem of this novel was tys drug dealing because in the end it is only gonna bring him down and distance him from the people that he cares about.

the main thing that the author does in this novel that keeps it interesting is he presents a situation when you least expect it and ty is forced to make a decision quick and escape it.

Do you think ty johnson will end his drug dealing and change his life around?
